Elena is one of my least favorite characters, along with Stefan (and others I wount mention to avoid spoilers). She is such a self rightous moron. Vampires are not human, so forbher to hold them up to human "morals" is absurd. Does she go around chastising humans or other predators for hunting and killing prey? No? Yet she is incapable of understanding that to a vampire, humans are the prey.

A lot of your questions were explained really well in the other comment so I don't have much to add, except that maybe in the beginning you thought Elainas anger was uncalled for. I kinda disagree, Stephen is different species, way older than her...so many things he was hiding that a person should know before they get too close and too intimate with one another, and the only reason he told her is because she figured it out already. π how long was he going to pretend before revealing himself? I personally would want to know these details before I get emotionally invested or physically involved just in case I'm not ok with it. He can always compel her to forget so there is no risk of exposure, so there is no excuse for keeping it secret.

I think she can be upset that her boyfriend's a old-ass vampire actually lol Also, in the beginning of the episode, Vicki is not a vampire. She's just a junkie who likes the way the blood tastes lol The blood did heal her wound though. This will come up a bunch of times but to become a vampire, you have to die with vampire blood in your system. Vampires simply feeding on humans will never cause them to become a vamp in this show. Damon was invited into Elena's house in episode 3 when Elena, Stefan, Caroline and Damon were all having dinner. Logan had the watch that tracks vampires and it pointed him into Stefan and Vicki's direction. He assumed Vicki wasn't one and took the chance with Stefan.
