maybe it's just me getting older but i am realizing in these rewatches just how much i love the dynamic between jesse and joey. they're mid-20s guys and i think what makes them stand out to me is there really isn't much of that "in between" any more. there's a lot of shows and characters geared towards teens and tweens but then there's like this skip between college and suddenly married with kids in lots of tv. it's just nice to see characters in this stage of life that's in between early 20s/college-age and settling down with spouse and kids. and it's nice to see them act their age. too often they age up characters or age them down. jesse and joey feel like real guys in this age. it's just nice lol
