Is this factual or more rumor based, because all I've seen online about that is people say it happened, but I've never seen any of the people involved in the relationships say it happened or anyone who knew them. Just random people on the internet talking about it, also Bridgit and Shane broke up in 2015 and Samantha and Shane maybe? started dating in 2017. Which again just appears to be speculation, but if it is true, how is dating someone close to 2 years after a breakup cheating. Just curious, not annoyed or anything, in case this sounds like I am.

this is such a good episode. acting is top tier. storyline was real! and the ghost plot balanced the episode well

Spoiler warning Nah. This is one of the better long-term storylines that a teen/family/ coming of age show wrote. Let's compare this to Sam-Freddy, Jade-Beck, Robbie-Cat, Spike-Buffy. All these toxic relationships that were written. This show actually handled the situation appropriately.

Alex was technically cheated on by Mason but it was also kind of weird and not intentional cause of the whole wolf instinct thing. This was intentional cheating and that's what made it so heartbreaking as a kid, especially since we saw Spencer a few times and they were dating for a while.

Unfortunately this happened in real life, involving the same people many years later. The actress who played Teddy and the actor who played Spencer dated in real life and he cheated with the other actress and she was close friends to the Teddy actress. Life imitating art.

whats crazy is that this kinda happened in real life too. the three actors (actress for teddy, actress for skylar, and actor for spencer) were all friends irl. the actors for teddy and spencer dated irl, they broke up, and then he started dating the girl he cheats on her with in the show
