This is my favourite episode of season 1 ;D so much good stuff happening. And I am so happy we got two episodes now

2024-09-24 01:36:02 +0000 UTCDamon at this stage of the show is extremely selfish, murderous psycho who does cause lots of bad things to happen. Yes it's his fault the tomb vamps got out, because he is the reason it was opened to begin with. He was the one who refused to come out of the tomb earlier, so Bonnies grandmother had to wear herself out doing the spell for way too long. Damon didn't have to turn Isobel, but he did, so any bad things she did as a vampire is thanks to Damon too. At this point in the show Damon killed many ppl including Lexi and Vicki and his own relative. Elena has like a hundred valid reasons to complain about him. The Elena hate is ridiculous. Yes she can be annoying, but Damon is 100x worse person

Sure the seal broke, but that was not Damon's fault, just like it wasnt Damon's fault that the tomb vampires wanted to get revenge on them. And most importantly it is not Damon's fault that Isobel was so desperate to become a vampire she went searching for one and found Damon and asked him to turn her. Him turning her at her request is not self serving.
