I saw Brandon getting emotional because he realized he didn’t actually want to move. He realized he would miss his family and he was emotional because he didn’t want to disappoint his dad because he knew his dad was really looking forward to it. But Brandon’s allowed to change his mind. But yeah the solution should be to just stay with his dad more often like 2 or 3 days a week. I didn’t see Brandon being emotional as a result of some past trauma. He’s just a sensitive boy. He’s artistic and has a lot of feelings. And he cares about both his parents’ feelings.

Great reaction. I’m with you….I gave up on this show because these characters was just meh to me and they gave me gossip girl vibes with characters being unlikeable but at least in gossip girl they have personality.
Callie is meh right now….it seems like she wants to be more liked by Brandon just like the girlfriend. At the steps she had this weird attitude like “haha brandon tells me everything”.

its also like ur looking too deep into certain things, and then completely missing the things that are deeper. Like callie’s look at lena when she told them jude’s starting school. She’s obviously just worried for her brother and being apart since they’ve only ever had each other and is overprotective. And then about brandon’s whole thing, he clearly feels like his dad isnt around enough, which is why he blew up at him. His emotional reaction and crying is normal, considering he knows how much his dad wanted him to move in. Also, mike 100% should have talked to stef and lena about brandon moving in with him before he asked brandon. He’s still a minor and even though he’s only gonna be <20 min away, its a big adjustment considering he’s lived with them their whole lives. Its not something you just ask a kid without talking to their other parent

tbh that's all shows and i don't really get the mindset he has going into it. like it's never been like this before. but there's no thought of "why is so and so doing this" there's no deep look into things like that. and it's making me regret voting for and pushing shows like this and greys where it's strongly character driven.

tbh this feels like its quickly becoming a show where u dislike the characters for no reason. ur gonna have to actively try to understand where the characters are coming from, especially the kids

I don't think Brandon crying is that strange....

oh dear lol i thought you'd really like this show and the characters from the jump but i guess not. i guess all i can reccomend is bear in mind all these kids are dealing with some sort of trauma and past abuse/issues/drama and that's affected so much of how they see the world and how they react to the world around them.

yes!!! these kids are coming off some major traumas and that's going to affect every decision and thought they're facing right now. i've never been in the system but i've heard stories how even if you have the nicest home just the process alone is traumatic. i can definitely understand where they're coming from. i'm surprised he's disliking them so much.

yes!! i thought brandon's emotions were so realistic and refreshing. it was nice seeing a teenage boy be that emotional and not just standoffish and bottled up. you could really empathize with the emotions he's feeling and the tough position he's placed in.

Ep 3 and he dislikes most of the characters, yikes 😬 plus I do think you’re judging Callie and Jude to severely. Like they have been abused and Jude has been in 7 schools within 2 years by going to another one that makes 8.

Brandon obviously cried because he knows both Mike and Stef love him and it's hard to choose one or the other. He's also pretty much reliving the divorce again. And pain is relative and should never be compared.

I don’t understand how you can dislike Callie right now, like literally she did nothing wrong in this episode or previous one for that matter and literally the Brandon thing with his dad I thought was so obvious as to why he was emotional. It was literally inferred in the last episode that him and his dad have not been close for years and so his dad wanting Brandon to move with him is a big thing since like I said, it was inferred that him and his dad were not really close for a long time and because he spent most of his life living with his moms. When it comes to him crying telling his dad he can’t move in, I thought that was because he didn’t want to hurt his dad about not wanting to move in anymore, like that was so obvious. I think you also forgot that he’s 16 years old so calling him a “coward” because he didn’t want to hurt his dad by not wanting to move in anymore and wanting to stay with his moms I thought was really weird and odd for you to say. Any kid who loves their parents is gonna be emotional about having to choose who to live with and not wanting to hurt the other, I found that to be obvious and relatable.

He has issues with kids not raging against and defying their parents. Watch his reactions to the dad on Suite Life to see more lmao.

Damn, 3 episodes in and already hating Brandon💀, I feel like it usually takes people a lot longer for that to happen
