all these years later it still gets to me. as a little kid watching the show i wanted to have an uncle jesse so badly. now as an adult i want to marry someone with that same kindness as him. we always talk about how like robin williams affected an entire generation but i truly think uncle jesse did too. kids that didn't have that kind of male figure in their life could see him and he just made you feel safe, you know? a comfort character before we even knew what a comfort character was lol
