Also I understand Pacey being mad at Audrey. I don't think he was mad about their past, but the fact when he first approaches them at the start of the episode Pacey asks her 'Is he one of your ex's?' and she lies to his face and says 'no we were only just friends'. I also would be mad in his shoes if the person i'm "dating" lied to me about something like that.

2024-06-29 15:00:05 +0000 UTCI know i'm late to watch and respond to this, but I want to push back on your post show narrative it's been seasons since we saw romance between Joey and Dawson. This season began with Joey and Dawson reconnecting romantically, and then Dawson's dad died and that's what split them apart. They were going to be a couple but then once he passed Dawson told her 'I can't right now, it's just too painful because everytime I look at you, I think of my childhood and that makes me think of my dad and it hurts' So we did have a *very* short moment to start this season of Joey and Dawson actually exploring and wanting to be together and the only reason Joey moved on to Professor Wilder and Charlie is because of Dawson pushing her away. She wanted to be with Dawson Which is also why she got mad at Jen about sleeping with Dawson, because Joey wanted Dawson, Jen knew that Joey wanted to be back with Dawson but he pushed her away and then Jen got with Dawson.
