You’re 100% right about the Peyton of it all. The actresses even talked about this scene on their podcast. The creator wanted to trash Hilarie Burton so they basically wrote Peyton in as being a “bad friend” since she left the show. It’s petty and ridiculous but that’s the kind of person Mark Schwahn is.
