Patreon undid a thing

Dunno if everybody got an email about this, but I did. Apparently they won't be rolling out that change; too many Creators have lost too many Patrons because of it. What I haven't realized is that it would disproportionately affect the lower tiers - negatively.
They said that ultimately it's the Creator who should decide how their business is run, and not Patreon, and because I always prefer your comfort over my own, if they make it a choice for me, I'll probably continue to handle the fees myself. XD
And one more thing. After having announced that change, I haven't lost a single Patron. I had a chat about this with a friend, and they said: "You have the good supporters! :D" - and I couldn't agree more. Thank you. <3

2017-12-31 13:43:24 +0000 UTCi think it works out to be and extra dollar for me after conversion, and i can understand that lower tiers would be affected, for me at least, if i was at a lower tier it could have doubled my payment. and I know people have lost subs because of it. But I do agree with Patreon on this, Its your business, you should be able to decide how it is run. Either way, I will be happy to support your wonderful work.

2017-12-20 21:22:52 +0000 UTCIt's all about amassing things. When you support a lot of Creators here, those little fees can build up to a very high amount. And on the other hand, if you think $10-15 isn't a lot for my art, I actually earn around $1000 thanks to those little bits. So, you know, everybody wins. C: I dunno, I guess I'll make a poll if that choice comes up haha

2017-12-20 12:41:53 +0000 UTCI got the email. It was only pennies. Really people worried that much about 50 more cents, (speaking only in a currency I understand?) Cigarettes and Coffee are more expensive. I don't mind. I still think 10-15$ is too little for the quality of your work. If you want to earn more go ahead and get those fees out of the way.
