Finding out what she did and stopping it from happening was the original plan. They meant to go 2 weeks before the execution but the elders messed with things to teach them a lesson.

Sometimes I think they should've had this one as the season opener, even though I do love episode 1, this would've just been a hell of an episode to start a season with lol. It's not so much him stepping in the dog poo, it's more like that's the tiny butterfly effect type thing that starts his whole crusade against witches. I really like how they did this episode and the lessons they have in it. Season 2 definitely has some really great episodes on this level, but there are some not so great ones, still it's an amazing season! Hopefully someone can sponsor the whole season again ๐ค
