Fleabag was definitely a personal/passion project for Phoebe Waller-Bridge - it started out as a live one-woman show, though not having seen it I don't know if it ncluded the plot-lines of series 2 or not. There is a live recording of it online (behind a paywall at National Theatre Live - one day I'll get around to subscribing to that for a bit as they have some excellent things, also including the recent-ish Angels in America with Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane, which I saw in the cinema and is extraordinary, and several other plays that Andrew Scott has done recently that I'd love to see).

2025-08-25 12:08:00 +0000 UTCI actually am so glad to see you react the way you did! I do think it was bad timing, she was very vulnerable in that moment and he clearly was too. It doesnβt matter what kind of day it is though, that monologue hits every single time
