At the end of the last season there was a weird time warp putting her as a werewolf. It never ended up being a long thing. It really felt like they gave up that season

2022-02-16 11:36:57 +0000 UTCMy guess was that by the last season of the show, they were allowed a smaller budget and couldn't do transformations as well as in the first two seasons. You could see that with the teenage girl they tried to help in a later season, how her own transformation was more awkward in terms of VFX. So by the time they got to do Sally's, I guess they were completely unable to do it justice and just implied it.
