Very cool. I think the TV show "Angel" did that and also Patreon transformation artist Manic does too. Definitely keeps things fresh and also allows the movies "The Howling," "An American Werewolf In London," and "Cat People," which all came out within 2 years I believe, to exist in the same universe quite easily for fan fiction purposes.
