Collector Hero: Synthesis Chapter 48

But thanks to Izuku’s use of Warp Gate, there are plenty of Heroes now surrounding AFO and he can’t escape nor can he steal Quirks! It may not be perfect, but this is the time for a final fight to take down the oldest evil to exist since the rise of Quirks! But can the Heroes manage to bring down a man that styles himself a Demon King?

Chapter 48 – United Front vs All for One

“I won’t make the same mistake that I did five years ago, All for One!” All Might declared as he launched himself at his most detested foe. “This time I’ll make sure that your villainy ends, permanently!”

BAM

The clash of the Number One Hero and the Ultimate Villain shook the air like a bomb had gone off where their fists met.

“It seems that you’ve set yourself an impossible goal, All Might.” All for One replied as his right arm bulked up and expanded grotesquely. He aimed his palm at All Might and a massive explosion of air and force was unleashed again.

BOOM

All Might was blasted through multiple buildings this time; but the instant that the shockwave subsided, All for One found himself besieged by multiple Pro Heroes.

Flames roared from Endeavor’s fist as he blasted All for One nearly pointblank with his Hellfire Quirk.

All for One shot backwards, floating through the air with his suit letting off smoke. “Ah, the perpetual Number Two Hero…hoping to get out of All Might’s shadow for the first time?” The ancient villain mocked Endeavor as the Flame Hero rocketed towards him with jets of fire blasting from his feet.

A shadow fell over All for One from behind and the man only turned partially to look at it before a massive claw swiped him out of the air. Ryukyu’s dragon form knocked All for One straight into the devastated ground, kicking up a cloud of debris in the process.

“Full charge, output level fifty: Nejire Wave!” Nejire’s golden energy spiraled around her arms before bright prismatic light mixed with it, vastly amplifying her power. The spiraling blast of golden and prismatic energy slammed into All For One’s location and blew it apart in a ground-shaking blast. “I hit him, Ryukyu!” Nejire said, though her normally cheering tone was replaced by one of utmost seriousness as she flew next to her mentor.

All for One rocketed out of the crater that Nejire had put him in. The man’s suit was tattered now and his mask looked a bit damaged as well, but no one could see that until he’d stopped…right in Nejire’s face. “So that’s where it was!”

“Nejire!” Ryukyu roared as she lunged at All for One.

All for One held his left hand out, the arm bulging grotesquely again, before blasting Ryukyu away with his combination of Quirks.

“Ryukyu!” Nejire called out as she tried to make distance between herself and All for One.

All for One’s right hand clamping down on Nejire’s arm like a vice prevented her from going anywhere. “So, you’re the one that fool chose as his successor… I must say, he actually had me fooled. To think he’d have the foresight to actually give One for All to someone that wasn’t a musclehead that only knew how to ‘punch harder’ like himself.”

“Back off!” Nejire pointed her free hand at All for One, the golden spiraling light and energy mixing with the prismatic light once more.

All for One grabbed her arm and shoved it aside roughly just as Nejire fired. The beam of power blasted the devastated ground below and much to her horror, All for One controlled her arm and directed the beam straight at the Heroes below.

A large, translucent green barrier appeared and blocked the powerful beam. Izuku stood behind his Quirk, empowering it with both Amplification and Enhance Function. “Nnnnnngh…” Izuku grunted as the force of Nejire’s Quirk strained the Barrier and nearly shattered it as it passed by.

“I’ll assist you with defense, Synthesis!” Crust declared as he made large hexagonal shields one after another and slammed them into the ground, quickly creating a wall to defend the staggered Heroes that had come to take down the mysterious mastermind of the League of Villains.

“Thank you, Crust!” Izuku thanked the man as he used Earth Flow on the ground to shore up the defense even further.

All Might was a blur as he shot through the air toward All for One. “Release her, villain!” His punch stopped short as All for One pulled Nejire between himself and All Might’s fist, using her as a shield. “Monster!”

“Please don’t interrupt, All Might. I’m simply taking back what’s mine.” All for One said as Nejire struggled against him.

“One for All can’t be stolen.” Nejire said as she watched All Might fall back towards the ground, having to abort his attack to keep from killing her.

All for One chuckled darkly. “Normally, you’d be correct, girl. But there are ways to get around the limits of any Quirk.” His grip on her arm tightened more and Nejire had to forcefully stop herself from screaming from the pain as her arm felt like it was breaking. “After all, if I can’t take it back, I can simply remove it entirely.”

Nejire’s blue eyes glowed with her power and then the power of One for All, prismatic light shining from within before overtaking her entire body. “Wave Cloak!” All for One was blasted backwards at speed as energy spiraled around Nejire intensely.

“What’s this?” All for One grimaced at the unexpected use of One for All.

He wasn’t given time to consider it as All Might’s fist was rocketing towards his face now that he was back on the ground.

BOOM

All for One caught the punch with another shockwave shaking the area around them. “Do you mind, All Might?”

Ryukyu came at All for One from behind with a powerful tail swipe.

“So many pests tonight.” All for One blocked Ryukyu’s tail with his free hand, stopping it cold.

“FLASH FIRE FIST!” Endeavor roared out as he blitzed straight into All for One’s opened guard, his right fist emitting a bright light and insane amounts of heat.

Ryukyu flapped her powerful wings once to clear a safe distance while All Might leapt back with his incredible strength.

“Grkh!” All for One let out a pained hacking cough as Endeavor’s burning fist slammed into his chest.

FWOOOOSSSHHH

The flames blasted All for One through the entirety of the torn up city blocks, slamming the villain into the edge of the Domain that kept them all trapped inside.

-News Helicopter-

“Below us you can see a massive battle going on between a large Team Up of Heroes, including All Might and Endeavor, against a single villain!” The news reporter said while the cameraman focused on the devastation below. All of the damage was in a perfect circle, somehow, with the police barricades and traffic diverted before it had ever happened. “We have no idea of the villain’s name or their origin, but the scale of destruction is beyond anything seen in years!”

In various homes, businesses, streets, and even on people’s phones the news played Live as they watched. Many people were worried and concerned, seeing the destruction already caused and how the single villain was fighting off both All Might and Endeavor, along with every other Hero down below.

It was only because of the destruction and the light in the area being somewhat bad that all of the Heroes couldn’t be identified readily. Endeavor was a beacon of light in the dimmed and destroyed area, of course, and All Might’s large frame was instantly recognizable to the people of Japan.

It was a just a little bit of luck that Izuku couldn’t be seen well, or both Hisashi and Inko would’ve lost it at seeing their son on the front lines where he WASN’T supposed to be!

-Kamino Ward ~ Battleground-

All for One hacked out a painful breath, his black helmet mask beeping a few times and alerting him to the damage to his injured body and the function of his vitals. He put that all aside and placed his hand on the wall that he couldn’t see. “What is this?” He forced himself to stand up. “An area of effect type Quirk?” He ignored the smoke rising off his body, knowing that his Regeneration was already healing the burns he’d just sustained. ‘If I was in better condition, I could use that Quirk and make Endeavor and his fire a non-issue.’

Seeing the two prismatic glowing lights racing towards him, All Might and Nejire, All for One decided to give them both something else to worry about. “Why don’t you be good little Heroes and SAVE OTHERS!!!” Both of his arms erupted into dozens of large spiraled bones that exploded from his body and rocketed in all directions, intending to kill every Hero within the area all at once.

“Damn it!” All Might veered off to block a few of the bone spears that were blurring through the air.

Gran Torino was nothing more than a blur as he zipped through the air, shattering the spears before they could reach their targets.

Behind the wall of defense made through Crust’s shields and Izuku’s molding of the earth, more than a few of the Pro Heros took shelter from the deadly rain of bone spears.

With a short time to focus, All for One went through the various Quirks that he currently possessed and which ones his weakened body could handle. “Alright, let’s try those out.” He floated through the air at speed, moving towards the wall riddled with his bone spears where he knew a good number of the Pro Heroes were. “Let’s get rid of the trash now.”

“Like I’d let you!” Gran Torino fell like a meteor straight onto All for One at his top speed.

Only for All for One’s body to fade away and the elderly Hero to smash the ground apart.

All for One continued to float through the air, only becoming visible after his decoy had been destroyed. “Substitute Shadow does indeed work well on the hotheaded.” He mocked Gran Torino as he reached the wall.

Only to have to jerk back as a meter-wide hexagonal shield spinning through the air nearly took his head off.

“You’re not dealing with innocent civilians, villain!” Crust declared as he formed a large shield from both of his arms. “We’re all Pro Heroes!”

A black blade slashed at All for One while his attention was focused on Crust. The Hero attacking was known as Mr. Brave, his Quirk Hair-Raiser allowed him to harden and shape his hair into a variety of tools and weapons that he could remove and wield. His Hero costume was a dark blue bodysuit with lighter patches covering his forearms and hands, the sides of his thighs, and a thin stripe under his chest. He also sports a belt around his waist, with a cloth tied loosely around his neck, and golden headgear. “Black Blade!”

All for One dodged the blade, only for a second one to be formed from Mr. Brave’s hair, grabbed, and then stabbed through his stomach in a blur, proving Mr. Brave’s skill with his Quirk and his experience as a Pro Hero.

Then the All for One he stabbed faded away and Mr. Brave felt a crushing grip on the back of his neck. “A rather simple Quirk, but useful in its own right. I’ll take it.” He activated his Quirk, the one that he’d taken the name of while discarding his birth name, and waited for the information of his new acquisition to appear in his mind.

Only it didn’t.

“What?!” All for One actually cried out in shock as his Quirk failed for the first time in his long, long life.

Wham

All for One reeled from the shield that slammed into his masked face, letting go of Mr. Brave in the process.

“STOP!!!” Izuku said with an odd power and inflection in his words.

All for One jerked for a split-second before looking straight at Izuku. He was nearly on top of the green-haired teen in the next fraction of a second. “A pity, young Midoriya. But this helmet protects me from the influence of both sound-based and psychic-based Quirks.” He tried to grab Izuku, but found himself blasted with a wave of water from Izuku’s hands. When that water suddenly formed a sphere around him that was almost crushing in its pressure, All for One realized that Izuku had this planned in advance.

“Water Prison, successful!” Izuku called out and Endeavor was suddenly behind the water sphere, his burning hands placed onto the liquid as he blasted it with fire, making it instantly boil with All for One still inside it.

“Air Cannon, Springlike Limbs, Kinetic Boost times four, Strength Enhance times three!” All for One roared out as his body was being boiled alive.

BOOOOOMMMM

The entire area around the defensive wall exploded outwards, the structure blown to pieces and all of the Heroes blasted away in various states of injury.

“Hah…hah…hah…” All for One breathed heavily, seething as steam still rose from his severely scalded body. “You pests are becoming troublesome. Just die, and I’ll take your Quirks from your corpses.” His body was rapidly healing thanks to Regeneration but with the state he was in, his helmet wouldn’t be able to keep up the life support functions soon.

“All for One!” All Might was already back on top of his most despised villain, slamming a punch into the injured man’s hastily raised guard.

All for One flew a distance before his Air Walk Quirk stopped him in midair and he looked at the incoming All Might. “I suppose I should snuff out the last embers of the old before I stomp out the current flame, shouldn’t I?”

Gran Torino slammed into All for One’s back at top speed, launching the villain forward painfully…straight into All Might’s fist.

“Guh!” All for One’s head whipped around, part of his black helmet shattering from the force of the blow as he bounced across the ground.

“Currently healing the injured. They’ll rejoin the fight soon!” Izuku’s voice resounded in everyone’s heads as he used Telepath to update the Pro Heroes on the current situation.

“You’re outnumbered, All for One!” All Might said as he came at All for One again. “You’re not getting away this time!”

“As if you’ll still be breathing by the time those other pests are back on their feet!” All for One jeered as All Might’s fist came straight at his face. “Impact Recoil!” The powerful punch stopped the very instant that it touched All for One, before any force could be transferred, all of the power of the punch was blasted back into All Might and sent the Number One Hero smashing through more rubble.

Gran Torino was in All for One’s blind spot as he rocketed towards the ancient villain with a powerful kick.

A piercing pain hit his shoulder and blood flew through the air as he lost control of his trajectory and crashed into the ground a dozen meters from All for One.

“Finger Pistol.” All for One said, holding his finger out to show that he’d used the same Quirk that he’d put Best Jeanist down with on the old Hero.

The claws of Ryukyu’s dragon form swiped at All for One as she swooped down from the air at great speed. “Dragon Dive!”

All for One’s arms bulged up a fraction of a second before the talons slashed him. He skidded along the ground for a moment before pointing both hands at Ryukyu.

BOOM

Two shots of the powerful Air Cannon were unleashed, blasting the large dragon away at high speed and slamming her into a fallen building.

“Full charge. Output eighty! Nejire Wave: Pike!” Nejire, still glowing with the golden and rainbow light of her Wave Cloak around her, blasted a spear-like shot of her spiraling energy at All for One, the compression of the attack making it many times faster.

The spiraling beam passed straight through All for One, revealing his use of Substitute Shadow again.

Nejire had predicted that, however, and from her opposite hand launched another ‘pike’ of energy straight at where All for One appeared a short distance away from his ‘shadow’.

“Foolish child!” All for One raised his hand into the air, preparing to send the attack straight back at Nejire.

Izuku saw the incoming Nejire Wave: Pike as he’d just finished healing Mr. Brave’s injured leg. Seeing that Nejire had already fired another of the same attack and that All for One was going to take it, Izuku’s mind (currently running faster than normal thanks to a combination of Mental Boost, Enhance Function, and Amplification) came up with a plan.

“Reverse Force.” Izuku compiled the Quirk into his already active boosting Quirks and ‘caught’ the spiraling beam of energy only a handful of centimeters from his outstretched hands. The beam flattened into an expansive disk as it froze in the air for just a fraction of a second…and then reversed at full power launching the spiraling beam straight at All for One’s back.

All for One saw the bright light from behind him too late. “AAARRRGGHH!!!” He cried out as the first spiraling beam slammed into his back and shoved him into the incoming second Nejire Wave: Pike.

BOOOOMMMM

The blast was immense and shook the area like an earthquake. A massive crater was now in the center of the area enclosed by Zone’s Domain Rule.

All for One launched himself out of the crater, blasting the cloud of dust and smoke away, as he blurred straight at Izuku. “As expected from our lineage! I should treat you as the biggest threat!” His slowly regenerating fist slammed straight into Izuku’s chest with incredible force and Izuku spat out a thick mouthful of blood.

“YOUNG MIDORIYA!!!” All Might roared as he vanished to the eyes of everyone suddenly.

BAM

It was like the sound of thunder as All Might’s fist smashed into All for One’s helmeted head. The incredibly durable support gear cracked, pieces of it flying off into the air, and All for One rag dolled through the air.

“PROMINENCE BURN!!!” Endeavor bellowed like an angry God, his entire body erupting into intense flame and heat as if the sun was suddenly in Kamino Ward. The blast of fire not only engulfed All for One’s flying body, but the stream of intense flames carried the villain straight across several blocks before exploding like a bomb, reducing the area into molten cement and steel.

As the flames raged for a long moment, being hot enough to burn almost anything as fuel for a short time. Everyone was shocked, and incensed, to see All for One shakily float into the air above the flames. His suit was gone, his burned and mangled body struggling to regenerate, and his helmet was melted, falling off his face more as black liquid than metal and plastics.

“Aaa…gahga…” All for One tried to speak as the flames died down, but his body couldn’t handle it yet. “He…roes…” The word forced its way out of All for One’s busted mouth. “Always…heroes…” His ragged voice then said a single word. “Overload.”

All for One’s body began to almost glow, and his regeneration sped up until his body was whole again, even his previously mangled face was partially restored, showing eyes that were nearly feral in their rage. “It’s always those playing Hero that’ve annoyed me the most.” His skin turned a bright red as the flames below him were all drawn into his body. “Heat Absorption.” All for One’s body noticeably bulked up. “If you insist on pushing me this far…then I’ll burn through some of my life to leave this world you tried to protect without any Heroes.”

BAM

A force slammed into All for One from the side, knocking the villain a couple meters through the air.

“Which fool wishes to die first?” All for One looked to where the strike had come from, only to see Izuku…or what he believed to be Izuku, perfectly fine and massively changed.

“You’re not the only one that can avoid taking a hit.” The much larger, 239cm tall, Izuku said with huge muscle fibers covering his body and bulking him up substantially.

BAM

A second hit struck from behind, making All for One turn to face the attacker, only to see a second bulked up Izuku with his fist extended.

A third strike hit All for One, revealing a third Izuku surrounding him.

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM

A rain of blows slammed into All for One from all directions as a dozen of the bulked up Izukus revealed themselves and started throwing punches at the floating villain mastermind. Force Projection allowed Izuku to let the force of his punches travel across open space, making for an efficient means of pummeling All for One from a distance with his greatly enhanced strength.

The Heroes looked to where Izuku had been hit, only to see a mud-like substance on the ground, revealing that Izuku had used Double on himself at some point before All for One’s attack.

“Hahahahahaha!” All for One laughed as the blows continued to hit him. “Yes, I was correct. It seems nature has won over science this time around. Truly our lineage is superior to all others.”

“Lineage?” Izuku, the original, wondered what the villain mastermind meant by that as he continued to rain down a barrage of blows with his copies.

All for One flexed a bit before throwing his arms wide and unleashing a devastating blast of force in all directions. “Impact Recoil, such a useful Quirk.”

Endeavor and Nejire both blasted All for One with their Quirks simultaneously.

BOOM

The blast was large…but then swirled inwards as All for One absorbed all of the heat and bulked up even more.

“You don’t listen well…” All for One said as his body glowed a brighter red. “I suppose being in All Might’s shadow for decades has stunted your growth in all ways.” The villain was right on top of Endeavor a second later, slamming a bone-jarring punch into the hero’s guard.

BAM

Endeavor hit the ground like a meteor, throwing up a cloud of dust and debris.

“Next.” All for One spoke lowly, yet everyone heard him.

All Might blitzed forward meeting All for One’s fist with his own. The sound of thunder filled the air from the clash. All for One’s opposite fist went for All Might’s face, but the Pro Hero blocked it with another thunderous crash. That had been a feint, however, and All for One’s other fist slammed into All Might’s injured side, the same wound that he’d given him five years ago.

“AUGH!!!” All Might coughed out blood as he was knocked backwards across the torn apart section of the city. He felt the embers of One for All within him flicker and waver, nearly going out as steam began to rise off his body.

All for One was suddenly in front of Nejire. He slammed a back fist into her energy cloaked form and sent her slamming into the edge of the Domain. Holding out his palm, the arm expanded grotesquely once more. “Springlike Limbs, Kinetic Boost times four, Strength Enhance times three, Multiply Force, Hypertrophy, Rivets, Air Walk, Spear-like Bones!” More and more All for One’s arm grossly expanded, new, average-sized arms sprouted from the massive one, before partially fusing with it as metallic ‘rivets’ covered the flesh in various places. The spiraled bones grew from the massive arm, poking out haphazardly until they were all focused forward towards the massive fist. “Goodbye, remnant of Yoichi…” He cocked back the massive and grotesque limb as he prepared to kill Nejire.

The dozen bulked up Izukus leapt at All for One in unison, all prepared to lay into him with their fists to prevent him from attacking Nejire.

All for One casually swiped his massive arm through them all as if they weren’t there, scattering them into splashes of mud-like goop in the air. Without even looking, he threw his most powerful attack straight at Nejire just as she managed to stop her fall before hitting the ground.

Izuku didn’t remember moving in front of Nejire. His body had moved on its own. But as he threw his arms in front of him, his mind, body, and Quirk seemed to be fully in sync. ‘Air Compression, Gas Manipulation, Temperature Fluctuation, Force Projection, Six Arms, Force Multiplier, Physicality Boost, Kinetic Boost, Durability Up, Half Giant, Muscle Augmentation, Heat Generation, Blue Flame, Energy Burn, Spin, Reverse Force, Voice Casting, Amplifier, Amplification, Enhance Function, Efficiency, Pinpoint!’ Twenty-two Quirks were compiled all at once, as Izuku’s body shifted and bulked up, growing larger, sprouting more limbs, expelling blue flames and intense heat, along with every bit of kinetic energy that he could generate, while yelling with Voice Casting to turn his words into more power, on top of all of the air that he was pulling together and spinning faster and faster in front of him, forcing more and more power to build up at an explosive rate that wouldn’t be controllable in the slightest.

Then All for One’s attack slammed into the swirling mass of power that Izuku had created in mere seconds. All of the forces and effects of Izuku’s various Quirks slammed the energy of the two colliding forces into itself over and over again, building up more and more, condensing it further and further even as the air shook, burned, and crackled with residual electricity that was building up in the air.

“That’s impossible!” All for One shouted as he saw his most powerful attack be swallowed up by the massive force that Izuku had managed to suddenly conjure in a mere few seconds.

The swirling mass of power was too bright to look at as Izuku used one of his Quirks that he’d had since before coming to U.A., Pinpoint, to aim the ‘bomb’ that he’d created.

A beam, faster than anyone could hope to follow, made of pure force and heat, passed straight through All for One’s grotesquely mutated arm. The limb vanished faster than the human eye could blink. Every single cell gone and broken down into base elements in an instant. The beam slammed into the barrier of the Domain and exploded, unleashing typhoon winds that rocked the enclosed area for several seconds before it began to settled down.

“AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!” All for One howled in pain and rage as his body finally registered the damage it had taken. He couldn’t feel anything from the missing arm, of course, but the power of the beam had shattered almost every bone is his body, his Heat Absorption had kept him from being burned, but now, with so much energy stored up, his body was on the verge of breaking down, even with his Overload Quirk taking him far beyond his body’s natural limits.

The ancient villain didn’t even realize when he fell to the ground, his mind already in too much pain. But he was able to start directing the massive amounts of energy in his body towards his Regeneration, allowing him to start healing rapidly.

Izuku fell forward, his body returning to normal as it was spent beyond what he could handle. “One last…hit…Hadō-senpai…” He managed to say as he collapsed to the ground.

Nejire blasted forward with a rainbow of energy shining from her body as she rose up high directly above All for One’s struggling form. “Full Charge!” Her aura flared ever brighter, becoming hard to look at even from outside of the Domain. “OUTPUT ONE-HUNDRED!!!” Nejire put both of her hands forward as she poured in all of her energy into her next attack, the spiraling golden energy shining within the aura of prismatic light. “NEJIRE WAVE: FLOOD!!!” From her hands a waterfall of spiraling beams, each big enough to completely eclipse the crater that All for One was currently in, fell down upon on the ancient evil.

All for One looked up just in time to see the rainbow of energy falling upon him.

BOOOOOMMMM

The land shook, the air shook, the Domain flickered in and out of visibility from the force slamming into it. The blast was long, continuous, and carried all of Nejire’s will and desire to end this age-old villain’s evil once and for all. As her energy flickered out and Nejire felt herself slipping into unconsciousness, she felt like she’d accomplished the task that this great power had been granted to her for.

Ryukyu managed to fly up and catch Nejire before she could fall too far. The dragon form, despite its immense durability, had been beaten, blasted, and thrown around more in this battle than in Ryukyu’s entire career leading up to this point. Despite that, she gently caught Nejire and glided down to the ground, near the very edge of the barrier where Crust had once more used his Shield Quirk to make a ‘relatively safe’ location for the injured.

“Is it finally over?” Gran Torino asked as he and All Might approached the massive crater in the ground. “It looks like that successor of yours finally completed what One for All was meant to do.

What they saw in the smoke and dust was a figure, barely recognizable as a human, struggling to move. The charred skin was flaking off, revealing that All for One was still alive, even after all that he’d suffered from the Heroes that had come to put him down.

All Might blitzed forward without hesitation as All for One was regenerating, determined to put down the monster that had terrorized the world for far too long. His right arm sparked with multi-colored lightning and in his mind’s eye he saw a point of white light pass into a blue point, then a red point, a green point, an orange point, a purple point, and then into a shining yellow point of light. ‘Goodbye, All for One…’ He threw the most powerful punch that he could. ‘Goodbye…One for All…’ All Might, Yagi Toshinori, bid farewell to the power that he’d inherited from his mentor and all the previous users. “UNITED STATES OF SMASH!!!”

The punch slammed into All for One’s regenerating body and it was like the world had exploded. Gale force winds tore through the enclosed space, the Domain becoming visible as it struggled to contain the force unleashed by Japan’s Number One Hero.

“THEY’RE GOING TO BREAK MY DOMAIN IF THEY KEEP THIS UP!!!” Zone yelled out as sweat poured down his forehead from the strain of maintaining his Quirk. Never once in his career had he ever struggled to contain anyone within his Domain…but this battle was pushing him to his absolute limits just to contain the destruction within so that the rest of Kamino Ward wouldn’t be dragged into it.

“Just hold on!” Mandalay said as she refused to take her eyes off the barrier and what was happening within, constantly reporting everything to Nezu and the other Heroes through her Telepath.

The cloud of dust and smoke filled the Domain, blocking out the views of the news helicopters flying above. All across Japan, people were waiting with bated breath to see if the Villain that had destroyed a large chunk of Kamino Ward had finally been defeated by the Heroes.

All Might shrank down to his weakened form, his breath coming in heavy gasps. The crater was now so deep that they’d reached the barrier of the Domain that went underground to form the sphere. Beneath his bleeding and broken fist, the remains of All for One let off steam. But the charred and blackened husk, smashed into the bottom of the barrier still twitched, a faint flicker of life still remaining.

“Still not giving up…” Toshinori breathed out as he glared at the dying mass beneath his fist. “I can’t tell if it’s even you, or just that monstrous Quirk of yours anymore.”

Footsteps were heard along with the sounds of rock and gravel falling here and there. Toshinori turned to look behind him, seeing Gran Torino leading Eraserhead down the edge of the crater.

“Let’s make sure that we do it right this time.” Gran Torino said with a stern face, even if part of his mask was gone and there was definite bruising on his cheek.

“When did you get here, Aizawa?” All Might asked his fellow teacher with a smile, despite his pain.

Aizawa looked at Toshinori, seeing his weakened and near emaciated form covered in injuries. “I was at Jaku making sure none of those other Nomu would be able to use their Quirks if they woke up. The patients couldn’t be left outside forever, even if we did transfer almost half of them to other hospitals and clinics nearby. As soon as we finished securing the last Nomu, I was rushed over here via helicopter.”

Gran Torino motioned to the twitching husk that was seemingly trying to cling to life. “Go ahead, just so we don’t make another mistake.”

“Right.” Aizawa opened his eyes wide, both turning red and glowing while his long bangs rose up and away from his eyes as his Erasure was activated.

The charred husk stopped moving before a bright red glowed grew from within. Smoke rose up in a thick black cloud as the remnants of All for One burned from all the heat the body still contained from Heat Absorption. As soon as Overload was erased, the remaining body couldn’t maintain any life, and without Heat Absorption controlling and converting the vast heat that All for One had absorbed earlier into energy, the husk burned to nothing from the inside out.

The three men bore witness to the death of All for One, the evil villain mastermind that had ruined the lives of countless people since the Age of Quirks began.

In their hearts, all three of them, as adults, felt some relief that they were the ones to end the villain instead of either Izuku or Nejire. This course of action should be taken by adults, the responsibility of ending another person’s life should never fall onto a child’s shoulders. It may one day happen in their future careers as Pro Heroes, but until that time, Gran Torino, Aizawa, and Toshinori would take on this burden for the teens and leave them to be innocent ‘kids’ for a while longer.

The ancient evil has finally been stomped out.

Rest in peace all the former holders of One for All; the work is finally done.

Nejire as the Ninth Holder, performed her duty perfectly, bringing All for One to the brink of death!

All Might, as the Eighth Holder, finished off the evil that he’d failed to eliminate once before.

Gran Torino brought Aizawa to ensure that All for One couldn’t come back this time. And was witness to the end of his old friend’s murderer.

The ‘kids’ helped out, but the adults took the responsibility onto themselves, as they should.

The League of Villains has fallen…but that opens up a power vacuum that All for One had held for nearly two-hundred years.

Who will attempt to rise up and fill that position?
