Option 1 - Start a 2nd draft, smooth the rough edges
Option 2 - Wrap up the story for now & call it good

2025-10-14 21:48:15 +0000 UTCI haven't actually stayed up to date with this story recently. Is the "wrap it up and call it good" more of a "slap a good enough ending on the story and move on" or a "the story is reaching a natural conclusion point so just go ahead and finish it, don't worry about going back for polishing"? If it is reaching a natural spot to wrap up and end, then I would lean towards finish and move on to what you want to write next (even if that might be a second draft) if it is just too rough for you to want to continue and you're just going to give it a quick and rough ending just so it isn't abandoned without one, then I would possibly lean towards write a second draft- it depends on if you Want to write the story and whether writing the second draft will lead to a better ending/continuation.
