TTRPG - Delver System v0.1 Rules + Lvl 1 Adventure

Hey there!

We finally have a beta release for the TTRPG system. This system was primarily developed by Sir Raiu Koren while I ran support. It's the inverse of how we work on the books, so it's some proper symbiosis we've got going on here.

Attached to this post you should find 5 things:

1) The Delver System Core Rulebook v0.1, which contains the game's primary mechanics for both players and game masters.

2) Delver System - Crafting Items & Enemies v0.1, which details the game's crafting systems and how to create your own mana-woven weapons, armor, and other equipment. It also includes explanations for the GM on how to design monsters and has a small selection of monsters that are ready for use.

3) A blank character sheet, which is a docx because I didn't know what other format to put it in. We use Google docs for everything.

4) A blank monster character sheet, also a docx for the same reasons.

5) A zip file containing the pdf for Tira's Workshop, which is a Delver Level 1 Platinum adventure. This zip also includes the tokens and map tiles I made when running a group through the adventure. They don't have grids or anything, but are easy to use with any online tabletop program.

If any of this is busted and you can't download it or something's missing, please let me know and I'll try again.

Again, this is the first beta release of the game. It includes content that should be sufficient for up to Delver level 10. Attributes and core combat intrinsics have evos up through level 40, but most supporting skills have evos up through level 20. It is not a full release, but it is a robust representation of the game and gives enough for a healthy run through the early levels.

You may also note that there are more active skills for Physical and Spiritual than the other schools. This is partially because those two schools contain the vast majority of debuffs, so they just need a lot more skills to represent their niche. It's also just... sort of how things happened.

The other schools are specialized into other things that don't demand as many skills, but we're fleshing those out more moving forward. There should still be enough for a full build into any dedicated school, doubly so if you're branching out into an adjacent school as well.

We'll continually update the TTRPG as we reach new milestones, such as having level 70 evos for all attributes, having a new adventure to release, dropping another 20 monsters, etc. The TTRPG supports the books, so we're always working on it alongside Mage Tank.

Awesome! I'm glad it looks interesting to you. Our goal is to do monthly updates. The first update will primarily be error correction, since we've found a few things here and there that needed clarification or stuff like a skill appearing in two places but they don't match exactly. We'll be releasing those with change logs so it's easy to keep up with the corrections. After that, we're targeting content updates that expand the evolutions to higher tiers, maybe some more premade adventures, items, monsters, etc. Some of the peripheral rules might also need adjustment based on player feedback, so it would be good to get ongoing thoughts from folks.

I help run some ttrpg programs at the local library in my city, and this is going to be excellent to run if I can get some experienced players to play. this is absolutely one of the best systems I've read
