Hey folks!

I haven't perished or slipped into a coma, I've just been a zombie for a few days.

Our peak after the book 1 launch ended up being 622, which is pretty fucking great, and I cannot believe how well everything went. I was also really pleased with how the audiobook turned out and that it's also doing so well. It was a lot of fun hearing how Daniel Wisniewski interpreted the characters. Once again THANK YOU for doing so much to support the launch, and for all the really heartwarming reviews (we've got more than a hundred of them now!).

The community really showed up and it made me feel feelings that I'm too manly not to talk about. So here they are in the order I experienced them: Excitement, disbelief, confusion, acceptance, joy, terror, peace, overwhelming sleepiness, slight mania, and we're working through that last one now.

I didn't cry, you cried. It was just a bit of dampness, not a full tear. I got to the tissues first.

In other news...

CHAPTERS:

I'm working on a bundle of chapters for this week. I had to decompress for a couple of days after the launch, but chapters will start rolling out again TODAY. Then we will play a bit of catch up again to make sure Patreon is sufficiently ahead of Royal Road. This means lots of writing and editing for me, but I doubt I've ever had as much reason to write the shit out of some stuff as I do right now, so I don't expect it to be a problem. We've got things plotted out for eons, just gotta slap them keys until it exists in a readable state.
