Preview 18

Here are some of the things I've been doing to improve the building system. A context menu now allows for an entity to have multiple interactions, although this does not apply to everything as to not make picking straw or rocks feel tedious. To make moving easier I've made a crate which can store entities, which meant creating a whole carrying system. I've yet to make it so it slows the player down, right now you can stick an entire base in a crate and carry it like it's nothing.

Besides travel, the other part of Volatile Gases which I've been unsure about for a long time was the building system. I was quite torn on whether to do it like this or have housing be pre-made (example being the player homes in Skyrim). Being able to build your own base doesn't mean much, it has very little mechanical depth, but after playing a bit of Don't Starve and seeing the recent Lamb Cult game, I came to realize that the mere act of building a base yourself, no matter how inconsequential it ends up being, still offers a sense of gratification which pre-made houses do not.
