I've had these characters living rent free in my head for weeks so I've been excited to put them down on paper.

If you'll allow me to gush for a moment:

Holly Josephine Marnuk the reindeer is a clinical lab manager. She loves hobbies including making pottery and running a yoga YouTube channel. Her birthday is on Christmas so she's always eager to go overboard on the holiday festivities including decorating her antlers with little battery Christmas lights. Before fully discovering her sexuality she went through a anti-feminine phase in high school and went by her middle name, Jo (Josephine).

Kris (Cassandra) Carmello Cajal is a monkey and a PhD researcher at the same university hospital as Holly. She loves baking, especially banana bread/muffins/frittatas. She also likes PvP games, using an additional mouse and keyboard under her desk with her hand/feet to increase her APM. Her birthday is on July 1st. She's energetic and can often be found hanging from the ceiling. She's notorious for going on dramatic rants with ludicrously grandiose/eclectic phrasing.

Together they own a cottage on the outskirts of the city which has been upgraded with modern amenities. They use the attached greenhouse to grow seedlings for their extensive vegetable & flower gardens which they tend to together. The neighborhood kids think they're witches, which they play up for fun. And every year the two send out Christmas postcards wishing everyone a "Holly jolly Kristmas!"
