Development Log 2: Lively Castle

Hey everyone!

I planned to have the new update out already but unfortunately I immediately got sick after I just got back from vacation. I am now working hard on getting the next update out, the plan is to have it finished by the end of the week!

I'm mostly focusing on writing more content right now. I have written quite a bunch of scenes related to Morgana and I'm now working on more things to do in the castle. The update is meant to make the castle more lively, to give a good taste of the castle life. It's an important step before I focus on new areas like the town or the forest. So far I've written scenes like checking up on the soldiers in the barracks, sneaking around the kitchen to steal some food, and also some more of the prince's infamous night-time voyeurism moments...

I've bit of a bit more than I can chew with some of the technical implementations. I was working on new minigames and color pickers to let you select your own theme (which would help with accessibility and readability) but I don't think it'll be ready yet for the next update. Instead, I will be releasing that in a development build shortly after the new content update. Right now, the programming requires more time than I would like as I want to just keep writing content. Once I have the technical foundation in a good place after that update, most of my time can be spent writing new content instead!

Sorry for the delay with the update, I hope the release at the end of the week makes up for it! Thank you all very much for the support!
