Straight to the point: Patreon has 3 payment methods, the first is payment for a specific illustration, etc., the second is a prepaid subscription and the third is a monthly subscription with payment from every first day.
Now there is a third payment method.
But, there have been frequent "fellow travelers" who subscribe to any level, and then simply cancel it after a day or two, thereby gaining access to all the special content of the community, for free.
I count on people to remain my patrons out of gratitude and didn't make the initial down payment when subscribing. But because of such frequent "fellow travelers" I'm upset :(
And now the question for general discussion - is it worth including prepaid when subscribing at any level? What do you think?

I am of the same opinion. Thank you all for your feedback and participation in the discussion. Why didn’t I turn on the prepayment right away - I don’t really care about money, people who will leave reviews and support with likes are more important to me saying: “Cool job!”. Money is like a motivator. Especially when I felt bad, I always remembered, I have a job that people are waiting for.

I believe you should force prepayment on all levels so that people are unable to jump on and see all content without paying. It's not fair to you nor us that are willing to continue paying, knowing that others are able to see your content effectively for free.

That is, you can go without spending money and get access to all content, and pay only from the beginning of the next month (and yes, I myself have long understood how Patreon works in this sense)
2022-08-23 15:05:06 +0000 UTCI don’t mind either, but I’m not entirely sure what pre-paid would involve - I thought monthly subscription came out when you subscribe and then reoccurring each month following this? So not sure what pre-paid would offer as an alternative
