Added 2025-10-13 01:09:32 +0000 UTCThis gave me such a sense of dread and a night of nightmares. It felt so so real-I had known it was made to look real but I couldn’t stop questioning if this was actual footage and the movie was based on a true story. Unlike anything I have seen that’s for sure.

Literal what, i agree with your words after the movie ends. man idk Horror movies rarely scare me and this was no exception, I just have the same surreal experience i have every time i watch a bad horror movie. Paranormal actively is a movie where i just laugh because of how absurd it is

At the time they released an article in Premiere magazine that made it sound real and I believed it completely. It was such a great scare, you just can't do that now a days, but yeah it's all just a fake movie. What a good halloween jam.

2025-10-19 18:56:09 +0000 UTCKnowing how this movie was made makes it that much crazier and how much more legit it made it feel. I do hope you check out the sequel "Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2" it's not all on a handheld camera and has an actual cast.

Last night, I finally started the reactions to season 2 of "Game of Thrones." For some reason, I never saw "The Blair Witch Project," so I'll probably check that out. Also, totally unrelated, but I was in Barnes & Noble the other day and picked up the DVD for "Houseboat (1958)," which was on sale. Cary Grant and Sophia Loren. Can't go wrong.
