Patreon Release "Complete Collection" - Scanlan

This release might not seem like a huge deal at first glance but we have rendered more than 230 assets to pave the way to better looking animations ! 
The weird scaling at short range was an issue and this new method will alleviate it significantly.

We have tackled the range weapons animations and added a couple that have been requested.
We still have to apply the same treatment for ranged spell attacks, which will is planned for next release this month and hopefully should just about coincide with Otigon's Automated Animations overhaul.*
In the meantime, we'll provide the foundations of a "Sequencer friendly" database and a few macros that will let you use our new animations including the new Shield animation that we decided to split into an intro, a loop and an outro. This system allows for a lot more flexibility and will also let us add some impacts in the future. Sequencer makes it easy to combine these animations and create your own. 🀯

*Note : Otigon is working on a big overhaul of Automated Animations that will make use of Wasp's 'Sequencer' module and make it easier to create our own sequence of animations. We're all really excited about this. It will take some time however, so bear with us ! πŸ€€

With the amount of files we need to rework for next release, we can't promise anything as to when we will be able to make these three but please send suggestions as to what you think they should look like in our #game-vfx channel in Discord, that's always appreciated and as always, we'll try our best !

Itch io have replied to us in relation to the 1GB limit ! It turns out that we'll be able to push this limit to 2GB hopefully for the next release, but not for this one unfortunately. So we're sticking with the 2 zips method, same as last release. The One minute Tutorial Video we made last month will guide you through the zip extraction process.

How to access our JB2A content :

Foundry users

  1. Uninstall the free module. You don't need it anymore (note that all existing paths to tiles from the free modules will be removed in the process. You can fix the links yourself by replacing "JB2A_DnD5e" with "jb2a_patreon")
  2. Download our zip file from itch.io HERE. It contains ALL of our assets
  3. Drag and Drop the 'jb2a_patreon' folder into your modules folder
    (\Data\modules)
  4. Launch Foundry or restart it if it's running. The 'JB2A Complete Collection' should have appeared in the list of modules in the 'Add-on Modules' tab.
  5. Activate our module from your World as you would do any other module and that's it ! Enjoy !
