Patreon Release "Complete Collection" - Quackthulhu
Added 2021-06-13 14:19:16 +0000 UTC"Quackthulhu" is just a way for us to track our release !
Dear patrons !
Thank you so much. π You're all so unbelievably supportive and nice. It's a pleasure and a priviledge to be able to carry on doing what we love and to interact with all of you awesome people from all over the world on a daily basis ! π€
We've reached 1400 patrons ! What ? Dare we dream reaching 2000 patrons ? We don't want to jinx it, we've been climbing steadily from the start of our adventure, it is blowing our minds !
For this release, we're releasing the cone versions of the breath weapons ! Thanks a lot for your feedback, it has been very helpful. The fire breath will have two slight variations as the opinions varied between the breath being "spat" out or slowly receding back to the mouth.
We also took the opportunity to remove the anticipation build up and make Burning Hands and Cone of Cold.
The Dark Spiritual Weapon color request by @Serenity for a black sword has proven difficult to make but we found a cool looking version that inspired us to make a few more colors for it. They are the "s41" to "s45" on our Asset Preview.
In other news, we have the poll results from the #polls channel on Discord ! Thanks for your participation.
- π₯ Sneak Attack
- π₯ Arrows-Bolts-Bullets
- π₯ Shield
If you have ideas and suggestions about how you imagine what any of them should look like, please feel free to share your thoughts in the #game-vfx channel in our Discord. We can't promise we will necessarily follow everything proposed but we do promise we'll think about it at least !
It's time for the Open-Survey as well. Share the link, it is available to anyone and everyone !
Thank you !
We have also worked on the website that contains a lot of information which we'll centralise there so we'll only have to update relevant sections in only one location. Again if you notice a broken link or would like to add, update or correct some info, please let us know !

How to access our JB2A content :
Same as last release
Foundry users
- Uninstall the free module. You don't need it anymore (note that all existing paths to tiles from the free modules will be removed in the process. You can fix the links yourself by replacing "JB2A_DnD5e" with "jb2a_patreon")
- Download our zip file from itch.io HERE. It contains ALL of our assets
- Drag and Drop the 'jb2a_patreon' folder into your modules folder
(\Data\modules) - Launch Foundry or restart it if it's running. The 'JB2A Complete Collection' should have appeared in the list of modules in the 'Add-on Modules' tab.
- Activate our module from your World as you would do any other module and that's it ! Enjoy !
A Step by Step Installation guide is accessible here
Forge users
- Uninstall our free module and install our premium patreon module in the Forge bazaar as usual.
Your assets will be in "The Bazaar" tab. If you want to toy with macros, although the link to the assets appear to have a number assigned to them, macros will function with the "modules/jb2a_patreon/" path like shown in our example macros in our compendium. KaKaRoTo is a wizard !

Other VTT users
- Download our zip file from itch.io HERE. Extract the zip file and find the 'Library' folder. It contains all of our assets.
Enjoy and thanks again !

We'll talk to Otigon to see if it's possible to expose a "Browse to Library Folder" kind of thing so AWS users could just extract our "Library Folder" somewhere else and redirect to it. Otherwise, maybe a symbolic link would do the trick ? We're not very well versed into this though, unfortunately ! π Please note however that you won't have access to the compendiums from our module, nor would it be recognized as a module by Foundry VTT if you changed its location. Hope I'm not confusing you any further ! π

2021-07-10 13:55:40 +0000 UTCHi, the animations are great and they add a lot of flavour to the game. However the packages are becoming bigger and bigger (which is expected). That will soon become an issue for those who self host their games on AWS, as both the links and the Automated Animations points out to the modules folder and that should be stored on Foundry core installation (which is absurdly more expensive than S3 storage). Are you planning to create in future modules a way to store the animations elsewhere and have it all linked?

2021-06-27 23:39:24 +0000 UTCI'm guessing you're talking about Automated Animations. It would be easier to get in touch with us on Discord for this as Otigon would be able to weigh in on the discussion. The Github can be a good starting point as well : https://github.com/otigon/automated-jb2a-animations

2021-06-15 10:22:35 +0000 UTCAre there any known conflicting mods? I ask because some of them I can't get to work, no animations when I select them. Most do however, but it's just weird that some work for me and some don't
