But the plan at the moment is to do a monster of the week type of stuff so even if a character dies or is unable to continue her work as an adventurer due to not having the brain capacity for it anymore, she can still return in future stories to face new dangers and have new bad endings. This way I can try to explore more crazy fantasy concepts and not just the False Hydra. As for the Bard, we will definitely have one, but at the moment I haven't thought of anything for her yet. The next characters you should see very soon here are a blood hunter vampire, a goblin warrior and the guild recepcionist (future villain). The warlock you are perhaps referring to is a high-ranking mage adventurer. He will be one of the future villains. Mad scientist type of guy.

I'm curious to see what a Bard in your art style would look like. That's pretty cool, I thought you were gonna just kill them off and that would be it for them. So were the sketches you posted on the 20th of March an example of a Warlock and a Fighter?

2024-04-25 22:02:29 +0000 UTCOh, I didn't realize that was there XD. That sketch is part of an old version of the story. Initially the story would only have 9 pages, but when I was doing the sketch on page 8, I decided to start over and go the other way, where I thought I would value the characters and the monster more. So things will happen a little differently than that page shows. Currently the plan is for this story to have 2 chapters, and then continue doing more stories with the adventurers later on. I plan to make at least one adventurer for each main dnd class, so soon I'll start posting some characters that won't appear in the Hydra story, but will appear in other stories after this one.

As I was recently digging through Page 5's PSD, I believe I saw the sketch for a future page. I think it was labeled "Agrupar 2"? Really curious to see the Rogue's reaction after finally witnessing the Hydra.

I took a break from this story to focus on finishing the Jirou comic, but I'll come back as soon as I finish painting the rest. I already have the next 10 pages sketched out, I just need to finish the linework.
