What do I want? Why am I doing this?
Added 2020-10-31 18:53:17 +0000 UTCOver the past few weeks since I decided to start recording again, I've done a lot of crying, a lot of soul searching, and a lot of talking with others that hold special places in my life, including a couple very wonderful ASMRtists that are already quite successful in the industry and have been for years. To them I say thank you for all the encouragement and help you've given me over the past few weeks.
The same goes for everyone else that I've spoken to as well. Everyone has been so supportive and kind. With my health issues that forced me out of the military, I figured I'd never be able to bring myself to record again. When I listen to myself, I still sound horrible.
But if I can help even a few people relax or feel better with the skills and knowledge I have, then I figured I should at least give it my best and try. Even though trying to figure out all this modern patreon, discord, youtube, social media... @_@ I'm so confused by a lot of it and it's just so much to figure out...
But in the end, I consider it worth it, because I know there are people out there with hearts as damaged as mine and I don't want them to feel alone or lost or broken all the time. That's what I want. For people to never feel as bad as I have.
