I forgot that it causes true death so I can see it not being worth ending him forever to win. Easy to overlook part of a skill without constantly rereading his build 😋. But also.....Win Ryun Win. Although I feel like he has to lose for Destiny reasons cause the trap.

2021-04-17 16:03:42 +0000 UTCSo i enjoyed the chapter overall but I will say the fact that he's enjoying the fight and them going all-out but decided not to use his abilities to win cheapens the experience to me. He says its not important to him but didn't he also say earlier its important to his faction so he would fight to win? It just leaves a bad taste to me personally and cheapens the experience and his opponent. I'd rather he went all out and lost than lose because he doesn't care to try harder. Its not like he's trying to hide his skills either he just doesn't care and that's not really the attitude I want from a higher end fight in what has been a fairly long arc and one I've been looking forward to for a long time. Don't mind him not winning the whole thing but it would be nice for him to try. Rant over thanks for the chapter really love your work.

2021-04-17 07:07:50 +0000 UTCI think it's because deaths with it active are true deaths. He didn't want to actually kill him. The tournament captures the soul at death, then the healers restore the body and put the soul back.

Even if he didn't care that much about the tournament, he still wanted to win the match, and it's not like there's a cost to using the ability. So was he just trying to keep it concealed?
