I personally didn't feel like it ended on a cliff, but I do listen. My plan was to move from these characters and do a big chapter in another location but I wrote this as a short conclusion to the last chapter.
The big chapter and the start of the next arc will be on Friday.

Rather than look at the entire world as accepting of his past, you can really only look towards Zach. No one else in the world really cares and, as we saw over the course of many chapters, Zach didn’t just forgive him or forget about it. They are in a new world and need to adapt, I think something like forgetting the past or moving past it when they are such larger stakes at play is totally plausible. Granted everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is mine. Thanks for the chapter and listening to the comments. Take them with a grain of salt
