Web novel vs. paperback novel (Discussion)
Added 2022-06-01 22:28:19 +0000 UTCThe difference between my web novel and my paperback novel is simple: one you can read online the other you can’t and have to buy it on Amazon.
However, it is more complex than you realize. You see, the web novels are nothing more than just the final draft of my stories. Even though when you read them on Royal road, they are completed or ongoing. Even now, I am still looking for feedback and making necessary changes to help correlate the story.
Some of the changes are very small while some are very noticeable. I sometimes add, take out, or reshuffle the story around to make it fit and flow. That’s usually normal in my line of work. I don’t expect to publish anything on Royal road, and expect not to have any typos and botches. I have to make these changes and add more text or even take out parts for the sake of pace and timing.
Hopefully you understand that you the readers are a huge part of my success and I will always listen to you. Even though we will agree to disagree and I will not budge when it comes to character development, I still appreciate your participation.
