Current Feedback! (May still be updated)! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FH9w4b1-Qy1yjkIbNvveExKsfa9L3jjupRrPgDmyjcU/edit?usp=sharing

Dani

That certainly sounds good.

David Mclaughlin

Pause would definitely be viable option for those kinds of situations.

Road to Vostok

Would you/have you considered adding a pause feature instead? Earlier I had to go sign for a package and my only options were to try and run all the way back to the shelter, hide and hope I didn't die, or just quit the game

JuiceBox

I understand. I had hoped it would just save where you were in the world, in that moment, so you could come back to the game, exactly where you left it. I certainly understand not having save files, or a quick save system. Some games, like dark souls for instance, don't give you a save file, but when you quit, everything remains exactly the way it was. When you start up again, you are exactly where you were in the game to continue on with your journey. Thank you for the responses, I appreciate it.

David Mclaughlin

However there will be so many shelters and small dug outs so you should find those really quickly if needed.

Road to Vostok

Yep, otherwise dying would not require losing anything if you could always save and that would cause a big dilemma with the entire Vostok permadeath zone etc.

Road to Vostok

But if you are out in the world, exploring/looting and exit the game, everything that you did/gained while out is lost if you quit the game before you come back to the shelter?

David Mclaughlin

All shelter items / containers are automatically saved when you quit the game, return to main menu etc.

Road to Vostok

I was just curious, will this game have any kind of exit save to it? Something to keep your place and gear in case IRL things happen and you have to quit.

David Mclaughlin

You can use the website Feedback / Bugs form since that has some automation now.

Good jobb man

Nice :) I found a small bug relating to map transitions at night and I have a clip of it, should I send it to the feedback email or somewhere else?
