Hi!
Today I tweaked some of the controller things and added support for FPS-animations. Godot's animation system is really easy to handle and from this point forward whenever there's new weapon animations, those will be linked right away to the weapon data.
FPS-animations are running as a separate "object/node", so you can activate those animations in different weapon positions and it doesn't force you to move the weapon to any predefined reload position.
I also added "control tracks" for animation files which basically means that animation related audio (like magazine out) is now synced with the animation movement and easy to tweak if necessary.
On top of this, I added FPS limits (60/120/200/VSYNC/OFF) to the settings menu and finally changed the placeholder skyboxes to really high-quality ones. Previously all time of day phases used the same skybox (just different emission / tint) but now there are unique ones for each phase.
ps. I will leave those testing reload animations to next weeks build, so you can give feedback about the animation speed and general feeling.
