cw: footage of Hiroshima victims/survivors
Immediately after the atomic bomb was dropped, a film of the tragedy was taken away by the US military during the Japanese occupation and stored in the US National Archives. Time passed, and in the early 1980s, there was a civic movement called the "10-foot movement," in which the film was bought back by citizens by 10 feet. This documentary is a television program produced using the results. A-bomb survivors talk about their never-healing and vivid experiences while looking at their former appearance on film.
