Cheesecake, cheesy, cakes (buns, butts)! Cheesecake was the word for female semi-nude pin-ups in the 1940s during the Second World War. When we were all in the closet, male pin-ups happened and they borrowed the name. Then we all came out and a new word was coined, beefcake! And now we have Toastewire to keep us filled with ....beef.
