Working on NFT project and updates

The past few months wasn't very smooth sailing for me as I've been facing an inspiration/motivational drought when it comes to creating content for Toastwire and thus I've chosen not to charge my patrons for the two months as there's hardly much content being made. 

However, at my side, it's too complicated to describe, but in summary I was faced with the onset of purchasing my own property and looking at my current main job salary and prospects of salary raise in this pandemic times, I realized it isn't realistic for me to buy a house here in Singapore to get my life going. 

Thus, I have plans on venturing into NFTs - yes I know that many people are against it for environmental or 'scam' reasons but frankly speaking, I really need the money to get my life going and to support myself in the future, I do make some money off toastwire through Patreon and merch sales but it isn't enough. 

I understand that not many people understand or accept or are interested in the buying of NFTs so I would like to keep it fully separate from my Patreon page and posting, this would be the only mentioning of the NFT project that I'm doing and I promise I would not advertise it here, I would only be doing that on Instagram and Twitter. 

The project would be entirely mutually exclusive with patreon, I have no plans to link it up to give incentives to buy and I promise I will not force my supporters to buy the NFTs if they are uncomfortable with it. 

There and all, here's a rough idea of what I plan on doing. Mainly I've created my Toastwire universe, as outlined through www.toastwire.com and with it comes its own landmass and storyline and characters too. 

For the previous year, I've engaged and paid some writers from the community to write up some stories for my characters to give them some depth as well and with the additional features like a world map and other vsuals, I realized there's more depth towards this idea of my own universe.

Apart from the NFT part, you can still explore the site for content just for reading enjoyment to be immersed, after all, my main purpose is to provide visual pleasure and excitement for my fans.

I figured I could actually create a more interactive world if people would actually own characters that exist in this plane of existence and with that comes many opportunities like owning property and objects in Toastland and people can freely trade with one another. These characters are basically all the art I have ever drawn in the past 10 years and I've amassed about 1,000 different pieces and I'm in the process of listing them up for sale on Opensea, an NFT platform. Currently I have zero expectations for me to even sell one piece, but at least my works are up on the platform and I might strike it big.

Once I've listed all 1,000 of my works on Opensea, I would be doing a launch announcement on instagram and twitter to notify everyone and to explain what it is about.

If I do strike it big, I might even retire and just draw Toastwire content for the rest of my life.

Apart from just owning characters or properties in Toastland, I do not have any further plans for it yet. 

Again, I do not wish to impose or force people into buying or participating in it, if you think its a scam, you don't have to buy it, I won't force you and take it to heart.
