I tried to improve on the perspective for the element of height . Plus this was before he met Maysie so he isnt cursed yet with the gold in the hair.

2020-07-30 14:16:34 +0000 UTCnope, its featured in the lore/story for sometime, basically Jack initially wanted to explore the giant's castle to plunder his stash of gold, but after he chanced upon Maysie, he was struck with the curse of gold once he made the promise to be her friend forever. Basically this curse makes you see gold to be worthless and instead see other things with renewed added value and that's how he got his gold streak in his hair
