Just like the infinity stones, the Toastwire universe has its own relics, these are called focuses, fragments of power that condenses from the Toastwire every millenia , making its way to Toastland. (The Blinkspark is one them)
In this case, it's the Piece of Destiny, the relic over all magic that goes on in Toastland. (All magic cannot exist without the Piece of Destiny). (Ray is from the sun, so he is the only toastboy who is unaffected)
Three wizards defend the focus from evil forces.
Lance the violet - master of Frost and Fire
Ashwin the orange - master of Conjuring
Keane the pale - (future content)
In this case, it's Lance and his familiar snowball he created to keep him company.
