2023-10-15 23:20:37 +0000 UTCThe Japanese name for the Grudge is Ju-Oh which I think literally translates to like 'Rage Spirit'. I strongly rec continuing with the grudge films the story is very good but the continuity can be confusing. I can rec the best way to do them for continuity if you wish. For instance, the beginning section of the Grudge (2020) takes place at the same time as this first film. Another great horror franchise that ties into these films is The Ring. There is even a movie where the ghost from the Grudge has a death fight with the ghost from the ring. Never seen that film but always wanted to so I would love to go through the whole franchise with you two and your wonderful reactions.

This means you two would be among the first and I would really appreciate it if find the time. The Films are Cloud Atlas (Yes long but very good) from the directors of the Matrix and V for Vendetta. The other is Lost in Space (1998). Cloud Atlas has a steller cast of Hugo Weaving, Tom Hanks, Hallie Berry, Hugh Grant and a bunch of others.
