I saw this a while ago and really liked it but I couldn't remember much of what happens apart from Simon and Nick finding an alien, lol. So, this was a lot of fun to revisit. I forgot how many funny actors were in this though, of course I remembered Simon, Nick and Seth but completely forgot about Bill Hadar, Kirsten Wiig, Jane Lynch and especially Jason Bateman. I think he is criminally underrated when it comes to his comedic timing. I wish they gave David Koechner more to do because he is hilarious and I didn't think they utilized his talents enough, not like they did in Waiting and other films. I thought they did do a good job of making Paul very likable, they kept saying how he was rude but I didn't think he really was at all. I loved the ET reference and how it showed him giving Steven Spielberg the ideas for it and the ending reminded me a lot of ET's as well, just less tears here, lol. I grew up with Mac & Me and I love the reference too but I wish they gave us one more, like maybe he mentions it at the end or something, overall it's just fun.
