Fun fact: The actor who played Buffalo Bill and the actress who played Catherine became close during filming. The scene where she's begging him to let her go and he's fighting back tears...that was his real reaction because it genuinely upset him. Also I agree with you guys, Mindhunter is amazing. I was so sad when it got cancelled, just when they were getting to BTK!

2024-07-29 14:27:47 +0000 UTCThere's a reason why this film dominated the Oscars that year, it won 5. It's one of the only physiological thrillers to do so. It's crazy to think for such an iconic character and winning the Oscar Anthony Hopkins only has about 25 minutes of screen time. And he really is so good, very deserving but I have always found Buffalo Bill way more frightening. He just feels more realistic, like he could be a real serial killer. I would love to see you guys do Red Dragon, it was the last film to be released of the trilogy but is technically the prequel. The cast is so good!
