2024-12-24 10:48:42 +0000 UTCI love this movie, in my opinion it's one of Dreamworks most underrated films and doesn't get nearly enough attention or appreciation. The animation is so good, I always get chills when the dinosaurs appears, they looked amazing on the big screen. And if you listen closely the music really sounds like the Jurassic Park theme, not enough to where they were stealing it but I heard for sure in there. The cast in this was stacked and everyone did such a great job. I thought it was brilliant that they made the tooth fairy look more like a hummingbird, it was just so clever. I've never seen that kind depiction before or since with that character. Pitch is also a very underrated villain that I wish got talked about more too, I liked that he was more psychological and some of those line deliveries from Jude Law was perfect. I also really liked that when it came to helping Jaime believe, it wasn't about making him believe in Jack but the Easter Bunny which showed Jack's selfless side and the growth of their friendship, despite the rough patch at first. And the scene when it shows his backstory was also very well done but I also feel so bad for the sister, she lost her brother and it seems like they never found him. I always wonder if Jaime is supposed to be a descendant of his family and that's why he had such a attachment to him but I also don't mind if that wasn't their intent. I'm glad you guys watched and enjoyed it!
