Thank you, I feel like most people say Coraline and it's nice to know that I'm not alone on it, lol. But a fun fact I just found out recently, the bathroom scene where Mr. Prenderghast appears out of the toilet took over a year to animate and it was done by just one animator too. That's just crazy to me and makes me love the film even more!

2025-10-13 04:23:01 +0000 UTCThis movie is a favorite for me, I'm really glad you liked it and I enjoyed your reaction a lot. Being almost silent through the final confrontation scene with Aggie is so fair, it's one of my favorite scenes of all time, I always put down whatever I'm doing to pay full attention when it comes on. The music, haunting and tragic rather than dramatic and bombastic, the unique electric design of Aggie's ghost, the gorgeous animation and unique use of the set and Aggie's magic to break it apart and make it all float, and the fantastic storytelling, it's just a work of art. I agree with the above commentor, as much as I love Coraline, I think this one just barely beats it out.
