Age of Vore - Improved and interactive Cutscenes
Added 2021-08-20 15:18:06 +0000 UTCI think I finally have a more streamlined dialogue system that'll help with both normal chats and cutscenes when they are interactive. It's been much requested that the dialogue system is improved and I totally agree. The chatbox now has an appearing animation, The text begins typewriting itself and at any point before the text has finished, you can press "E" once to reveal all the text, and then "E" again to move on to the next bit of dialogue. Buttons appear to choose different dialogue paths. and the chat box closes on the last "E" press. This was mostly in the game already, but was implemented poorly by me and should hopefully allow players to go at their pace too. Take a look at the video and you'll see what I mean.
(also the pee pee poo poo line is a placeholder joke, gotta keep my sanity somehow!)
