Healthcare Project
Added 2021-03-16 15:21:17 +0000 UTCSo I love a lot of the mods that tackle healthcare in the Sims and add new ways to get sick or to incorporate the sickness from GTW. But a) services either seems overpriced or underpriced b.) it requires me to use lots or c.) the mod is too big. I really want something between EA and something like Private Practice or Slice of Life. A middle ground. So that's really the impetus for me thinking through healthcare in the sims right now.
I'm planning to add:
A Health Insurance component
Primary Care Doctors
Specialists
Therapy
Prenatal Care
Rename the GTW illnesses to something more realistic (though on the fence about this as I don't want too many conflicts)
Rabbithole dr visits (I don't want to have to send my sims to a lot all the time)
No Broadcasters (I love the realism but it seems like everyone in my game gets sick)
New Medicines - Vitamins, Cold Medicine, Prescriptions, Salves
Maybe vaccines, maybe not. Haven't decided.
New Sports and Life Injuries (though I probably won't do appearance modifiers)
Toddlers-Elder illnesses closer to real life (cold, toothache, upset stomach, headache/migraines, arthritis, muscle aches,etc)
Free Clinic option for those without Healthcare
