Valentines

So this mod I did it as a little Valentine's day gift to you all. Thank you always and Happy Valentine's Day!

What It Is

This mod offers a new holiday tradition - Valentines - and some features that go with that. It's meant to be used in conjunction with Love Day but you can of course use it whenever.

How It Works

Sending Valentines (Mail or Computer)

On the holiday, your Sim (child and up) can use the mailbox or computer to send someone a valentine (letter or email) or they can ask someone to be their valentine (social interaction). You must have a generally good friendship (about 60 for children) or positive romantic relationship (about 50 teens and up). 

Asked to be Valentines (Social Interaction)

Sims can also be asked to be valentines by other Sims, particularly those with whom they have high friendship (child) or romance (teens and up)/pre-established romantic relationship. If your sim has asked someone to be their valentine, they are likely to receive a valentine from that Sim.

Receiving Valentines

Sims can also receive valentines from other sims, including secret admirers. When they might receive them is random (between 90 and 360 minutes). If they've sent a valentine to someone they will most likely receive a response. They are more likely to receive valentines from sims they are in romantic relationships with. For children, they must either have a fairly high friendship or they can have first crush/love from LMS' mod. For teens and up they do not have to be in an official relationship, but they do have to have a fairly romantic leaning relationship.

What Happens

After asking to be valentine, your sim has the opportunity to be rejected or accepted. After sending a valentine, your sim has the opportunity to have their valentine ignored, rejected, or accepted/returned. Each reaction will gain your sim and the recipient or sender a reaction buff and relationship points. If accepted, both your Sim's valentine and your Sim will gain a temporary relbit called Valentines. It lasts for 12 hours.

Your Sim can only ask one Sim to be their valentine and/or send a valentine to one Sim so make sure to choose your Sim's intended recipient wisely. Receiving and sending and asking to be valentine all boosts sims relationships, if the interactions succeed.
