v14 Update + Speedmap Video!

Happy New Year!

Last year was a tough year for me. Despite that, I was able to get a LOT done.

I unfortunately did not finish my goal of finishing Paragon before the New Year, though. I swear, I feel like every time I set a goal for myself I completely underestimate the time I need to complete it. Sometimes I feel like if I was more disciplined and had more energy, I could pull these deadlines off, but man it's rough out here.

That being said, I have no intention of putting myself down for not reaching the goal. Especially since I got soo close already. I don't really have a percentage right now, but basically Paragon just has one more area left to complete. (Besides some stuff in Part 2, but that's besides the point. It's out of sight, out of mind for me.)

Once Paragon is finally complete, I plan on taking a half month off to reset and -PROPERLY- plan for Renegade. I have a roadmap, but I want to detail it and all that jazz. Oh, and by the way, when I say Paragon is "done", I just mean the base work. No testing has been done. Polish, QOL, and all that stuff is incomplete. I'll probably hold a testing phase before I work on Renegade because I'm greedy and I want reactions hehe.

Oh! I said I wanted to do more videos, so I put together a short speed-map video of me doing a certain room in Mt. Ruin. It's not an impressive or complex map, but I thought it would suffice for my first speed-map. It was also not planned, which is why a little piece of the map was done before the camera started rolling.

I want to do commentary and that sort of stuff next time. It's just difficult because I am just NOT a speaker. I'm so used to just mapping in silence while watching hour long cooking videos ! ! ! ! ! Also i don't think this speed map is very interesting or fun to watch, but that always ends up being the opposite case for others. The music is fun at least. So I'll just include it. I'll improve on things in time. Maybe. Commentary is so hard when you live in NYC fr. It's so noisy.

speaking of noise, the 2nd song in the video is kinda way louder than the first because premiere wont LISTEN to my edits and i dont want to render it again. sorry !
