"the main character" thumbnails + storyboard + final comparison

you may have already seen the majority of the storyboard since i posted it here before, but the thumbnail sketches came first and are hilariously illegible. i am a notoriously messy doodler, plus i was absolutely rushing to get the image in my head on paper before i slept, but you can kind of see the vision with it next to the other two parts π i do think having a looser sketch helps you have a more fluid final product in general, though
i ended up using CSP for everything, such a surprisingly powerful animation program on top of all the illustration tools
