AQUARIUS Sketches
Added 2021-02-09 22:43:19 +0000 UTCContinuing with the COSMOS Project, I'm here sharing with you the sketches for Aquarius.
Of my old and original sketches, Aquarius's was one of my favorites!
But, although I liked this sketch (top left) so much, I felt I needed to make changes...
After all, Aquarius is an Air sign, but it is Fixed.
So I wanted to represent the guy here, as much accommodated on the floor as possible.
But with a light, lively and inviting face, because it is still an Air sign.
In fact, the friendly countenance is a very important characteristic, because Aquarius is a sign that has a great power of communion with others.
It is a sign that knows, considers and cares a lot about the sense of community and society.
And this humanitarianism is here represented by the hands together (as in the shape of a bowl, a hint from the Aquarius jar) that offers nectar for the viewer of this Artwork.
The relaxed and saucy posture, also remind us of that behavioral aspect of Aquarius, of being easily "the questioner", that "subversive friend", sometimes even “eccentric”, who always encourage us to try to “look in a different way“ at things...
And the irony is that, despite being a "fixed" sign, Aquarius (for all the Air it represents) still loves to have space and freedom to be and to experience things in its midst.
Well... and as I have (tried my best) to represent different ethnicities, here for Aquarius, I thought of a Brazilian Boy with all that beautiful mix (of indigenous, with Afro descendants and Caucasians) that, I think, is quite poetic in relation to the sense of diversity that oxygenates in the spirit of Aquarius.

Digo de Coração mesmo! 💖 E sim, sim, falta tri pouquinho para um dos teus signos ser realizado!!! Yeeeeey! Estou tri Ansioso!!! Quanto à "quando" que fiz meus esboços... Bom, na verdade eu os faço nos tempos presentes mesmo. Esses estudos para Aquário estão quentinhos, recém saídos do Forno. Maaaaaaaas... à coisa de uns 5 anos atrás eu havia feito um esboço de cada um dos signos. A idéia de fazer esse projeto Cosmos me é muuuuuito o antiga. E tentei realizar em diferentes momentos da minha vida, mas... em cada um desses momentos tive contratempos diferentes. E nesse ultimo Ano, finalmente estou gozando de poder realizar esse projeto! E essa primeira parte do Projeto Cosmos, a parte que chame de Zodiaco, está quase Pronta!!! Estou tão Ansiosoooo!!! hehehehe Torças para que dê tudo certo meu Querido por favor! hehehe
