D. ROOM III Art Process

For this art, as you well know, the star was Bobby Drake, also known as Iceman.

And this art was, perhaps, more strenuous than Cyclops and Gambit.
Reflective surfaces are always immensely labor intensive as they need layers upon layers of additional elements to suggest this quality.
Also ice... Ice is a very challenging and tricky material to illustrate.

And Bobby has an entire body made of ice, as well as he usually is skating on an ice ramp that he made by spraying it.

I love Bobby, but Oh My, it was more work than usual hehe

Oh And... I would like to share with you that, I really make every line, every detail by hand. That's why arts like this one, need many days to be made.
But believe me, I do it with all my heart 😘💙
