I dislike the popularity contest aspects of this, but I love seeing the groups hyping each other and interacting.

TOO and pentagon In this round are the only ones who sang live fully without any backing vocals to complement there already amazing vocal's and tbh that just goes for every single team on Road to kingdom they're all amazing vocalists, rappers, dancers and just all round performers! I mean after all, If they wasn't they wouldn't be Idol's right?! <3 Nothing but love everyone hope you're all having an amazing day!

2021-04-15 21:57:10 +0000 UTCStray Kidz, The Boyz and Ateez all rack up very similar sales. I think SKZ is the top selling group in Kingdom, but Seventeen outsells all of those groups. Seventeen is the 2nd top selling active boy group behind BTS, although the margin between them is super wide. Stray Kidz can definitely hang and even exceed SVT in YT traffic, but it has yet to transfer into comparable sales to SVT. I think they're super close to reaching that threshold. But indeed, Stray Kidz definitely has the capacity to get the most YouTube traffic out of any of the groups on Kingdom, which is going to be an important factor in the show. Weird how

They get a backing track but they still sing live over the backing track, it's usually just there to make mistakes less noticeable and to make the sound more full. It does depend though, a lot of the time they mix the volume of the backing track for each member. So say member A has more stable vocals, so the backing track's volume will only be like 20% but member B has less stable vocals or is maybe sick or in bad condition, the volume of the backing track will be like 40-50%. You also have to take into account that in editing, the editing team may put the recorded song over the live video for the actual show because they want everything to look and sound perfect. Either way, yes they do have to record these covers in full in the studio lol

Also, I think the King Kong reference for ONF was more because they were originally discussing a possible king of the beasts theme (when the Lion King song played in the background), and they were saying he could use krump. Whether that was actually krumping...well...not so sure. Still my favorite performance of episode 2.

Pentagon will be doing a Shine + Spring Snow mashup.... p.s. prepare some tissues :D

I totally agree with you that I really hope Kingdom's evaluation is gonna be different... It's something I really disliked about RTK, they literally gave TOO no chance, at all. It was a popularity contest... First time seeing that performance by TOO.... that was INSANE!! They did such a good job Btw, I love how, during the whole video, you were like "Changbin this" "Changbin that" hahahaha
