Yeah no kidding. They did so well with 99% of volume 1 adaptation but I didnβt understand how any of that played out at the end until I read the LN.

And don't forget there was a 6 month break between episode 11 and 12, so for 6 motherfuckin months I was praying for Shin thinking he was a goddamn legion. They got me good. And don't worry, I didn't get it on my second watch either, probably my third. But there's so much symbolism and imagery in this show that I'm still getting some "Ohhhh shit" moments watching it with your reaction videos.

When Shin's juggernaut had the top ripped off in episode 11, and he asked himself "when he becomes the Legion, who's name would he call out?" The piece of his brother's juggernaut that had "Rei" written on it shined for a second before the scene cut off, symbolizing that his brother was going to help in some way. When it showed his brother carrying him with his shining armor, it was symbolizing that he shifted what was left of his consciousness to the "dinosaura", putting on the Legion armor to protect the 5 of them from the other Legion until the Federacy soldiers showed up and shot him dead. You can see the destroyed Legion model behind Rei when he's saying goodbye to Shin in his dream. And you see the same Dinosaura model when the Federacy president is looking down at it when he's walking away after Shin wakes up. That's also why they thought that 5 of them could possibly be Legion androids because they were being carried and protected by a dying Legion Commander. (Sherperd) Also, the uncle didn't get demoted. Lena just has to deal with this other asshole because she got demoted and her new supervisor is in charge of a different unit from Spearhead.

There's also the fact that MiA S2 aired a couple months after 86 2nd cour ended, so imagine going from the wholesome Frederica voice to screeching Faputa voice. I put her into my list of VA's to remember after that

He had it for a while but only etched in Reis name after "killing him". Also, they kinda made it awkward in explaining how they survived but basically: Just before Shin was about to lose his head, his face and cockpit brighten up with a lot of light, what happened was, Shins brother - Rei, uploaded himself to another unit (Dinasouria - the big tank with liquid metal arms) after he was defeated by Shin and Lena, shot the Legion that was about to get his head and saved them all. They were carried on his Legion unit until the Giad Federacy forces noticed people on top of him (Rei) and saved them. That's why Ernst said, 'they were captured by the Legion" cause that's what it looked like.

She's far harsher in her orders, she recognizes the power she has over others and doesn't hesitate to use it, and she's built up her own little team of like-minded officers that support her. It's such a great change for her character. She's still silly and lighthearted in private, but when it comes to work she is pure business now.
